Just as many of you do, I find myself scrolling through Pinterest whenever I want a new idea or inspiration for creating something whether it be food or decorations. For instance, I wanted to make sugar skull cookies for an event I was hosting, so I scoured Pinterest in search of sugar skull cookie inspiration and found this:

So yesterday, I’m sitting in my apartment re-watching One Tree Hill on Netflix, “doing homework,” and eating my second chocolate chip cookie when I suddenly wanted a smoothie…
All right, so I’m making this smoothie. I have my low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt and milk, but what kind of smoothie do I want? I immediately grab more cookies and chocolate syrup. Do I really want this? Yes, yes I do want to have a chocolate chip cookie smoothie, duh.
I’m not going to lie to you, I really wanted that chocolate chip cookie smoothie, but I kept thinking of how horrible I’d feel after eating all of those cookies AND spending my whole day on the couch. When situations like these happen, I always think of that quotation, “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.” which is not true. Nothing tastes as good as HEALTHY feels. Even healthy can taste good, too!
I remembered that I have a bag of frozen strawberries, pineapples, peaches, mangos, and oranges and some orange mango juice. So I put those along with my low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt and some milk into my blender and ended up with this!
