Just as many of you do, I find myself scrolling through Pinterest whenever I want a new idea or inspiration for creating something whether it be food or decorations. So making a healthy snack can be really tough when you’re a picky eater, like myself. BUT I have found a snack that almost anyone likes… granola! Granola is one of those versatile foods that you can eat hot, cold, or in a drink (like a smoothie if you’re thinking I’m crazy). As plain and bland as granola can be, it is a great addition to so many snacks.
Personally, I eat granola as a topping to a parfait-like snack that I concocted last year. My snack consists of:
… or the devil. Nothing makes me more sick than buffalo chicken pizza, BUT it’s just so good. Sometimes it’s hard for those of us with sensitive stomachs to eat all of that hot sauce, cheese, bread, or even chicken if you are vegetarian. We need to remember that there are substitutions we can make for any of these ingredients. You just need to look for other recipes and think outside of the box!
My mouth is watering thinking about how delicious this pizza tasted. It was a homemade buffalo chicken pizza, made by my dad. He used fresh dough, grilled chicken, hot sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Then, I proceeded to dip each slice of my pizza into ranch dressing… YUM! I need to learn his exact recipe so I can share it with you all.
Yummy grilled cheese with tomato soup is an easy, cheap meal that almost anyone can make. I got all of my ingredients at Walmart, all THREE of my ingredients. It cost less than $10 for multiple meals. So I bought a loaf of bread, a package of cheese slices, and a few cans of Campbell’s tomato soup, since I don’t really have the time or skills to make my own.
I’m thinking I’ll make a plain old grilled cheese and eat it with my canned tomato soup, but instead I found this great recipe to make grilled cheese dippers! It took the same ingredients, but changed it around a little:
Cut the crust off of 8 pieces of bread
Use a rolling pin to roll them flat
Put 1 slice of cheese on each piece of bread
Roll up each piece of bread with the cheese on it and place it on a pan on top of the stove heated at medium
Cook until light brown and flip each over until in looks light brown on both sides
Simultaneously cook the tomato soup until it reaches a boil
When they are both finished, pour the soup into two bowls and put the grilled cheese dippers on a plate and share with a friend!
